Torture in Gitmo - Why Not?
The U.N. recently reported on the conditions of the Gitmo (Guantanamo Bay, Cuba) prison for individuals resisting U.S. moral values. The 500 individuals being held in Gitmo serve as an important example for the world to view how the U.S. deals with dissent. Of course we torture inmates in this prison. That is the U.S. right as the world's only superpower. And there is absolutely no need for due process for these people. The reasons for their being held are many, but in total it is because they resist American leadership in their countries of origin and their dismissal of Christianity and American moral values. Once they adopt our way of thinking they may be released one day. If they continue to resist, their release would only lead to attacks on the homeland. The U.S. should in fact expand Gitmo, and extablish more prisons around the world to hold high-level people from countries that fail to embrace our leadership: Iran, North Korea, China, and most of Europe. The United States is at a critical juncture in our country's history. We must enforce our will over the world, or we stand the risk of losing control of it. American and Christian moral values must prevail across the globe, and our president realizes this important mission better than anyone. Let's all pray for George W. Bush and trust that his communication with God will lead us to victory.
